RSPIMB Flame Retardant Masterbatches enhance fire safety by delaying ignition, reducing flame spread, lowering heat release and minimising smoke generation during combustion. Two systems are offered. Halogenated grades, based on bromine or chlorine compounds, interrupt the chemical chain reactions of combustion with high efficiency at relatively low dosages — a cost-effective solution for electrical components, cables, automotive parts and general-purpose plastics. Non-halogenated grades, based on phosphorus, nitrogen or mineral systems, form a protective char layer that limits heat transfer and oxygen availability — environmentally friendly and preferred where low smoke emission, reduced toxicity and international compliance matter. We specialise in fully customised formulations that balance flame retardancy level, polymer compatibility, smooth processing and cost for each application, with compliance to national and international safety standards.
